I've one in .357. It looks like they cloned the Rossi 92, or at least took the safety from it.
I've had no problems with it. It's not quite as smooth as a nice Winchester, but I blame the baked coating more than anything. The loading gate gets to be a thumb buster if I'm running over 100 rounds through it.
I might disassemble it just to polish up wherever a cartridge rubs while loading.
On sale they are certainly good value, at least so far. O'Dell said there was little warranty work being done on them.
The 30-30 is a different beast, though. Marlin clone I guess
