From the Mind of BUBBA

So does Bubba fire that rifle behind his back or between his legs, considering where that bolt handle is meant to fit? At least with a whole rifle attached he's not going to be showing up in the ER sheepishly asking to have it fished out after "accidentally" sitting on it.
The guy bent the bolt handle so it can be fired with the stock collapsed

So, I get that its a P14 converted to 308, with K98 bottom metal, but why the huge lump welded to the side of the receiver?

Looks like part of sight mount.
You know I had noticed the signs on the barrel that it had once had a mount soldered ahead of the receiver, but hadnt thought they would but an offset side mount on it back there. Seems an odd choice, but ya, looks that way. Guess someone else realised a pic rail was easier.

This came into my possession a short while ago! It’s special don’t yah think!! The gun is actually a very old 870 Wingmaster that’s in incredible shape. Purchased a new set of take off 870 police furniture for it. Oooops just noticed it’s the milsurp section, SORRYIMG_3197.jpeg

I sold a Bubba'd #4 to an elderly chap on another gun forum. Good shooter, usual sporter build, $200. A week later he gets in touch with me and claims it won't chamber a round and there is an obstruction in the barrel, I told him to bring it back and I'll refund his money- even retired I am too busy to worry about $200 and figured I would check it out later and correct the problem. Turns out the old coot had tried slugging the barrel with a fishing weight and a chunk of redi-rod and totally ruined the chamber. It will need to be chamber -reamed before it can be fired, perhaps a good candidate for an Epps conversion. I will list it later in the EE as a parts gun $50 pick up in Calgary.

I hope had a post inspection conversation with him and didn't give any money back.
