Would have to take proprietary magazines to be allowed in Canada
It is the best price I've seen so far. I got lucky and snagged mine on sale last year so I paid only slightly more that this.
For your information... MRX 20 round mags fit in these if the feed lips are massaged down a millimeter or 2

But it’s not worth it for a company like Henry. Their us customers would want ar mags so they would have to make a special run with different magazines just for Canada, plus have a magazine company make those because they wouldn’t want to do it in house. Probably over 90% of their customers are in the us.
They really should.Henry needs to start including rails on these and the homesteader. Even still, I'm really tempted to buy one or two of these lever actions. And I'm not even a lever gun fan.
That said, I'm using a $14 Chinesium Amazon special Homesteader rail on my Supreme. Works just fine.

Just like buying a new rifle because you find 25 pieces of brass in the garbage at the range.
It's in the comments where they talk about the Homesteader. I had read the Homesteader and Supreme shared the same bolt pattern and didn't want to wait on a more expensive Ranger Point Precision mount. For $14, it was worth the shot. I did not have to shorten the screws like the comments mention on my Supreme.

Indeed, these have the smoothest actions of any lever gun ever made. No need to be forceful with it like most levers... You can cycle it with one finger as slow and soft as you want and it never fails to feed or extract.
