I do know for a fact that porcupines are attracted to urine, apparently for the salt, and of course deer like salt too. Still, I would set out salt and not urine.I've seen no evidence that does or bucks care. Some say it even attracts them to the spot.
Pretty much.But wait,
There’s a huge variety of products available to mask your scent.
Detergents, sprays, even special clothing!!
Is that all just marketing!?

I think I saw the same video, was that Fred Trost from Michigan Outdoors?Watched an old hunting video. Guy came with a masson jar full of fresh piss. He dumped it on his decoy and managed to shootva buck right beside it a couple hours later![]()
It releases a scent from the pads and marks his spotIf you do piss in the woods don’t forget to turn around and kick some dirt on the spot, my dog does this, I assume there is a reason.
Yup, thermos of coffee , sandwiches, snacks. Not only I piss in the wood, but I take dump too and I cook and have a fire, cause when we go moose hunting we are out at least for 3-4 days up to 10 days… that’s a long time to hold it…
Just spit my coffee outJust to be safe:
Pee in a cup and drink it immediately before the Deer get the chance to smell it.
You be chillin' and Gryllin'

That's right, especially during the frantic rut. Doe's want to be bred and bucks want to breed, they pay very little heed to danger.I've seen no evidence that does or bucks care. Some say it even attracts them to the spot.
