Yes, just like our waterfowl crossings in the Shuswap. The geese obey the signs.Is that the only place they are allowed to cross?
Got stopped by a herd of deer crossing the main street in our town, last year. Counted fourteen...
We have had a pack of wolves, as well as several cougar kill incidents in the last few years. Figure its a matter of time before one of the predators that are drawn in by the deer, take someone's kid. But, in the meantime, nobody will do anything about the deer, in any official capacity, as the official corporate line is that the Municipality is on the hook, if any deer that are spooked by them, cause any damage or injury.
Me. I figure we should have minivans full of guys with paintball guns, going around making it obvious to the deer that Town, is NOT a safe and quiet place to hang about in!
