Holloway Arms HAC-7

They'd be better off just making up their own design for a .308 black rifle.

Forgive me for my lack knowledge in the subject, but isn't R&D the hardest part of any design? With modern cnc machines, can't you just plug in the spec's and start cranking out parts/ receivers? Why not take something viable and make it now, and start making money now, instead of being locked down in the design stage for years while making zero money? I mean, I am sure those machines weren't cheap......

R&D is time consuming and expensive if you start from scratch or use a design that is completely new and unproven. Copying the HAC7 would be more expensive than just making up a new design.

As for firearms, almost nothing new has come about in design in the last 50 or so years. Everything is either a Mauser, an AR15, an AR18, an AK47, etc. or some combination of those.

I think that rifle would look good if..... they canned the ugly looking stock and put something decent on it. It ruins the looks of the rifle.

We've ditched the idea of limited appeal after-market part for a complete rifle.

Are you guys even gonna give us a sniff of what is up rather then semi auto and .308 bit?

Short stroke? (I would assume) Long stroke? (maybe)

2 lugs? 7 lugs?

Steel upper aluminum lower? All aluminum? All Steel?

Spring ejector? Fixed Ejector?

Adjustable gas system?(I hope, I hope)

Parts compatibility with other designs?
