Welp, I have had this cash burning a hole in my pocket for a few days now and not one peep from Roger over at Dark Int. I've called him starting friday and for the first 2 days, I got his wife? But now the phone just rings and rings and rings. I sure do hope he's okay!

But now to the reason of my post. I checked out Marstars site, SOLD OUT and from what I hear sold out forever.

I checked Gobles in London, they have 1 in stock at $495. I asked them to drop the price to $465 (the cost of rogers) but they refused. Since I can't seem to get ahold of Roger atm, is there anywhere else that sells Norcs for $465-ish .. or less?

Thanks for your imput! I'd like to save shipping time and actually walk out of the store with it as opposed to having to wait a week er so on shipping.

MNarstar told me they would have a few in stock in a couple weeks.....there are a couple being sold in the EE forum!

well i just noticed Frontier sells them for the same price $469... so, I suppose I'll try roger one more time tommorrow and baring that, just order one from Frontier!

Sucks I have to wait till it gets shipped out here though Guess I should just feel lucky to get one at that price with shipping included!

Marstar still has to take delivery of two containers full of them. One comes in a few weeks (send them an email if you want to be put on the waiting list) and the last container will come later.

If you don't need it right away, just fire off an e-mail to John over at Marstar...
It'll come to around $470 with shipping and taxes for a shipment to Ontario, it's a little higher for us because we have to pay PST as well..

For interests sake, Target Sports has it listed at $529

I know it's not really in S. Ont, but Ellwood Epp's in Orillia had ten in stock at the beginning of last week. I stopped in this Sunday and they were all sold. One of the guys said they were going to get some more in a couple of months. I can't get ahold of Rodger at DARK either,; been trying for 2 weeks. No phone or e-mail response. Paid $410 here in MTl. Just picked up a battle pack of ammo, now just have to find someone to ck the Dreaded cursed head space issue I keep readin about.

you all worry about the headspace thing too much just go shoot her. your surplus ammo will be fine. Don't get me wrong.... headspace should not be ignored and if you have a chance, knowing what it is can come in handy.... but i haven't seen one yet that didn't headspace okay for surplus ammo.

I believe your commercial ammo is fine too. Mainly a concern when you want to start reloading.

That was my understanding. Any .308 Win store bought should be fine, and when u get to it, have the headspace checked just so u know what it is. Once you know, you can adjust or not if u decide to reload.

LOL its still drippin in cosmo in the bag in the box under my bed. Will have to find a gunsmith near by, which is not as easy as it is out west. A good Gun smith in the Mtl area is a rare breed I think.
