Sale - Browning 3-in-1 Parka - $99.99 (Now active on website)

Are these jackets worth the hype ?
NO, they are NOT and IMO these are blatant knock-offs !

This is very different from the one I tried on/inspected at our local CT.

The description on web-site states :

The Shell alone:

  • Central flap before storm
  • 2 lower hand pockets
  • 2 large front pockets with snap
  • Sewn hood and elastic headband in the hem
  • Zip #2 serving as an attachment for the lining
  • Velcro fasteners on the wrists
  • Elastic adjustment at the bottom of the shell
  • Snap loop system to join the lining

- There are NO large front pockets with snap, only two lower slide pockets without a zipper or snap, can't put anything in there without loosing it

- There is NO #2 zipper on where you can attach the lining to

he Lining alone:

  • Lining serving as a small insulated coat with long sleeves
  • Isolant Primaloft Rise 100g
  • Zippered dump pocket
  • 2 side zipped pockets

- The zippered dump pocket is internal

- There are NO 2 side "zipped" pockets

In addition, the cuffs on the inner are so tight, I cannot slide my hands through it without forcing it. Then there are two weird zippers along the front which can be connected to the shell but then you cannot close the storm flap on the front. WTF ? Maybe that's why no pic of the inner is on website. ? There's no attachment zippers on the genuine liner jackets !

Also genuine Browning jackets have a logo on the back side of the shell. I don't care about the logo but genuine Browning jackets have it.

I'm not happy, at all... I don't know what to say (n)

I agree. Plus the cuffs are insanely tight. Took me minutes a side to get off and my wrists are small. I wonder if they will refund ?

Is it possible to see a couple pictures, please?

How's the fit, feel, and pocket situation in general?

Hi all, these are genuine Browning coats purchased from Browning Canada. It's a discontinued model, which is why they're priced at a substantial clear-out discount.

Our description on the website is taken directly from the Browning's tags that came with the coats. The pictures on our website are our own photos of the coats we have on the rack.

We cannot comment on what Canadian Tire stocks or whether they're selling the same product.

Here, 1st pic is the liner with the 4 zipper strands ? Pockets as seen, two on the bottom, no snap or zipper.

2nd picture is the shell. 2 pockets only as seen on the bottom no snap or zipper.

No #2 zip to zip the lining in.

Here are all tags that came with the product. I cannot find any features description other than for "Primaloft" and "Silvadur"...

Mine just arrived. It's clearly a Browning product, made in Bangladesh of course.

The Large is big enough for me to layer under it if I need to.

The liner cuffs are not too snug on my wrists but I'm only 5'8".

Overall, a steal for $100 plus shipping.

The picture in this thread of promo is incorrect, on the website is what you get, they should fix that because it could be considered false advertising.

No flap pockets, just slash handwarmer style pockets.

I can't figure out what the inner jacket left side zipper zips onto/into.
Yes its kind of the wrong inner for the outer, so you have to join both sides zippers and use the Velcro flap which will cause bunching inside the coat. Not sure what Browning was thinking....

They should be contacting all online buyers, who bought the item while the "certain" ad was displayed, send them a return shipping label including full refund.

Maybe they are a Browning product. Then I stand corrected !

Have a look at the promo pic and then compare with what you got... Is it the same ?

Nearly everything with a Browning label, except their guns are just made for Browning or rebranded. Usually pretty nice quality, though.

Kinda disappointing about the pockets, and the way they fit together though.

Probably why they're being blown out.

I hate field jackets that don't have double front zippers so you have the option to open the bottom if your're sitting on a bike or quad or sled or boat.

But I have some expensive 3 ply shells that don't have double zippers either.

Yeah, that's annoying. My older Columbia 3 in 1 coat has it, as well as an older Viking 3 in 1.

Even the Sports Afield camo coat I picked up for a song at the liquidation store. Looks like it was one half of a 2 or 3 part set-up.

My Redhead parkas don't have it, but they're still alright. I don't quad too much with my camo gear; mostly just to get to a spot and then walk around a bit, or sit under a tree.

One spot I find a two way is essential is on the legs of insulated bibs or coveralls.

I still think I'll probably give these a try for a younger "winter coat resistor"...

Fits fairly true to size?
