Think we're in for another shortage?

Do you guys think we are in for another shortage? Shelves have been fully stock for awhile now. I don't see a lot of small arms ammunition being used during this skirmish, but also didn't think the Russia Ukraine Conflict was going to affect supply and it did, given that's a ton of small arms ammunition.

Just curious on your thoughts. I've had enough to ride out the last 3 shortages. Also not worried about another.

Hard to say but it logically it does seem that every time there is a conflict somewhere / anywhere it does affect the supply / demand side of things.

As you say I doubt that there will much small arms use in Iran at any point but sometimes all it takes is the idea that there will be a shortage and people start panic buying, leading to a shortage.......

I keep an eye on what is out there and have been purchasing when good deals pop up. I am confident I can ride out any potential shortage.

Yes we are, Canada's major importer closed shop. The regulations are making this more problematic for it to happen. Combine that with the shutdown of mining for lead in the US necessitates the importing of it. (cough CHYNA.) Prohibition by regulation.

I'm a little short on 7.62x39 soft points as a shtf scenario but ok otherwise. Just can't find them at a price that screams at me...

I’m stocked up on most things but a bunch of the Alliant powders that I like to use are not available and a lot of the alternatives are not as good I find

I won't be facing any ammo shortage. I do feel sorry for the guys who aren't able to reload, cast bullets, etc.

At this point if you don't have 5k rounds per caliber you own. You deserve not having ammo and can't be helped.

For the amount I shoot these days having a 1 and 3 year old I should be set, Unless it picks back up when they are older and the current political climate changes, 10k of 5.56 in the closet and no guns to shoot them out of now.... The rest of the calibers still get shot. Need a NR 223/5.56 to fill the void.
