Marathon Military Watches

Nothing really Swiss about em. If you think legally stamping something made in USA or made in Canada is wishy washy. Swiss or Swiss made means china
Not entirely. Pretty sure they are using an ETA movement in the watch, which in indeed Swiss made.
 
My last 2009 era Seiko 5 mechanical was a POS. The second hand would get tied up with the other hands and stop the watch.

Brought it into a jeweler, got it back a month later, wore to work the next day and it did the same thing.

I went ballistic, threw it on the floor of my office and stomped its face until the crystal broke and then threw it in the garbage. In the middle of a meeting..............

Haha. I love this story. Have always enjoyed my Seikos but never had a Sport.

I run a seiko spb143 as my daily beater watch and I love it. I think it’s definitely worth going up a tier from the entry level seikos.
