On Clearance: TAC-12 "M3 Super 90"

having an issue with mine-I think the spring for the carrier arm is too short, and getting stuck on the carrier release at the trigger guard--safety doesnt work either--TI- I sent a couple emails tothe sales email regarding the issue, but I havent heard anything back yet-- I think a new trigger group would resolve all the issues

Just got the email that this is discontinued. All you did was deactivate the coupon code and "discount" the remaining inventory to the price we were already getting it for.

I hope everyone is happy with their shotgun. I'm staying away from this one.

What was the coupon code?

Pretty sure I paid full pop.

I'd still be interested in knowing if it will cycle target loads, your 1oz or 1&1/8oz loads like Challenger or Winchester white box, in semi-auto mode or if only in pump mode.

As long as loads over 1oz, it should cycle. Assuming well lubricated as well. Adding a bunch of heavy accessories might affect operating, like all inertia systems however

Is it possible a break-in with heavy loads is needed before the shotgun will handle target loads? 1&1/8 Challenger, 1&1/8 Score plus 1oz Winchester all fail to get the bolt far enough back to complete the cycle. If running a few hundred rounds of high brass is needed that is an easy fix, but mag dumping when it will do nothing is not desirable for the wallet or shoulder :).

But it is extremely gratifying to the soul.

I am considering one, but if I have to spend an additional $200 in ammo to try make it cycle, that definitely reduces my excitement. I’ve have several other turkenellis that didn’t require a substantial break in. Perhaps struggling with 1oz trap loads, but not cycling with several types of 1-1/8? 😬

I can't speak for this shotgun, but I had an inexpensive Turkish semi auto that wouldn't shoot bird shot reliably out of the box and the general consensus was that the gun needed more powerful shells to break it in.

I took it apart and polished all the surfaces that I could where the various parts involved in cycling the action ran. The outside of the magazine tube was easy to smooth out with fine emery paper and that's where I would start.

The gun cycled birdshot reliably after the contact surfaces were smoothed out.
