Hi all - question for the masses.... I know there are adapter kits one can buy to shoot centerfire pistol ctgs in 12 & 20 gauge in single shot shotguns. And there were adapter ctgs that allowed one to shoot .32ACP pistol ctgs in .30-06 rifles.

Does anyone know of such an adapter that would say let one shoot .30 carbine ammo out of a .308 Win; .30-06 Springfield; or .300 Win Mag chambered rifle?

If the govt BS proceeds in Oct this year then there will be a lot of .30 carbine ammo in want of a means to use it.

Thoughts?

That's very interesting, I don't mind one for 308 win to M1 carbine, I do a lots of ammo for that as well.

Actually while we are there, someone should made a 10 inch or 12 inch adapter for 12 gauge to other caliber also.

Savage Four-Tenner was an adapter, made by Savage, that is 12 inches long and is used in a break action.
Mine are 12ga. to .410.

Interesting, I didn"t realize .30 Carbine ammo was that available.
If one has an M1 carbine then usually keeping a bit of a stock pile of ammo helps with range visits. Which sadly, due to the new BS, is not possible anymore.

That said, if the gubmint BS follows thru in Oct & have to turn in or destroy all those USGI M1 carbines & others then the ammo just becomes useless.

An adapter then would just give someone a means to use that ammo.
