Actually specifically asking about the wrench itself... I have a bunch of choke tubes alreadyExtended Briley Chokes…
Carlson makes extended ones as well
Do you currently have a choke wrench that would otherwise work? If so what kind is it? If it's the factory Benelli one, I'd just modify/make an extension for it.Folks, how do you all change choke tubes on a firearm such as the Nova Speed or another firearm where the mag tube extends a fair distance past the barrel... the stock ones don't cut it here.
I was thinking the same or just grabbing an inexpensive one online and fabricating an extension for it. But was wondering if people have found a aftermarket one availableDo you currently have a choke wrench that would otherwise work? If so what kind is it? The TacOrd choke wrench is great for muzzle brakes but won’t work on the NovaSpeed…not long enough to clear the mag tube.is how I do it, perhaps it will work for you.
Tactical Ordnance Extended Choke Wrench is designed to remove your choke with ease. The extended length and incorporated bronze 12ga. brush easily removes the choke and holds it in place during removal and istallation. In addition the extended length allows to easily install and remove chokes if your shotgun has a brake. CNC manufcatured to tight tolerances from hardened stainless steel, it is a great additonal to your shotgun tool kit and easy to use.

Fits most chokes
Utilizes a bronze brush to help hold choke in place during installation and removal

Instead, you need something like this…which I am pretty sure came with my Nova Speed.

No…I am pretty sure Benelli included it with the NovaSpeed. Is that something you made yourself?

I hate to flex on Innavedaw but mines biggerHow many rounds does that thing hold?![]()
I hate to flex on Innavedaw but mines bigger. I can hold 16 standard birdshot...looks a bit goofy but cuts down on the reloading and no one mistakenly grabs my shotgun off the rack lol. No need for a special tool to change chokes, break it loose with a standard choke wrench, fingers do the rest.
People change chokes?
Screw in a Light Mod and focus on stage plans, and not missing.

Just depends on the stage. Some stages may have a limit, some might even have an unloaded start, it's up to the stage designer. I'm speaking of 3gun matches here, I don't shoot IPSC shotgun. Guys with semis can run faster than pumps so this helps level the playing field since 3gun matches typically do not distinguish between pumps and semis in their divisions. Is there a limit on the number you can start with? Or can that be fully loaded at the start?
Reloading is the biggest time constraint IMO.
