Anyone recognize what this mag is for, picked it up several years ago thinking it was a AR-7 mag but it appears that's not what it's for. Construction & design is very similar, but it is about .035 wider & does not fit in the magwell of my Armalite AR-7, I haven't tried it in any of the newer versions.
It also uses a different type of magazine catch, two notches on the front versus a cutout on the back. It holds 20 rounds vs the AR-7's 7 rounds. It is the mag on the right in the attached pictures, AR-7 mag included for reference.
Any Ideas?
