Sales on ARKEN products in Canada are VARY rare, as we've held prices stable for over 3 years now.

No, the DNT 7-35 will not go on sale. The only reason the Arken 7-35 is on sale, is because the previous American "owners" of Arken Optics USA started selling tons of them on Amazon Canada, and that has now been shut down when the owners of the Arken holding company took over Arken operations in the USA, and shut down the Amazon Canada sales channel - so we're trying to help them burn through massive inventory of Arken 7-35's, which were never "officially" imported into Canada and sold here by authorized dealers.

I appreciate the answer, maybe I’ll have to order the Arken then, I’m just hesitant to order a scope I haven’t looked through, I already got disappointed a few times ordering scopes without looking through them in person.

The Arken and DNT scopes are very very well reviewed and arguably there’s no other scope at the price point that comes close. Most people buying an Arken do it without having looked through them - and almost always come back and buy more. I have very few customers that stopped at only buying one. And I have never once had a customer tell me the scope wasn’t what they expected - it’s always wow, this thing is so much nicer than what I thought…. Anyway, just wanted to put your mind at ease. These are selling VERY fast, and I am away in China for 2 weeks come this Saturday - so all orders placed before 10am Friday 20 March will still ship before I leave - all orders received after 10am Friday 20 March, will only ship out on my return on 6 April.

Basically the same scope, except for the reticle where the DNT has a FULLY illuminated reticle and the Arken only has the centre portion illuminated. The DNT MIL reticle has 0.2MIL graduations, whereas the Arken has 0.5MIL graduations.

The DNT comes with a small throw lever included in the box and the Arken you have to purchase a throw lever.

Lastly, cosmetics - the DNT has sort of "diamond knurled" turret caps and illumination/parallax knobs compared to the traditional Arken knobs.

Those are the main differences.

To be honest, a few weeks back my boss who purchased a new rifle with a Night Force ATCR on it asked me to sight it in for him. I took it out to 1,000 yrds and I have an Arken EP 5 on mine. I know there's gonna be haters here, but I couldnt tell any noteable difference. Now my eyes aren't perfect anymore being in my 60s. but for me the glass quality seemed identical. Just my observation from shooting booth out to 1,000yrds.

Thanks for the assurance, I did end up ordering one and Robbie said I wouldn’t regret it. It should be here Monday, I’m really interested in looking through it now as my expectations are low but I’m hoping I’ll be surprised.
