Hey all,

I acquired a one owner, Browning Superposed 12ga shotgun here awhile ago and just curious on a value, or any tidbits of info you guys can provide? Im told its all original, I don't know much about shotguns in general, rifles are my bread and butter. So just looking to be educated on them.

From my research its a 1973, Grade 1, 12ga, 28” barrels, 2 3/4", FN made. Locks up tight, bores are clean, no pitting or rust in them. The blueing is in 8.5/10, wood is 7.5/10, there is a decent scratch on the grip, it’s NOT a crack though. It’s hard to see in the pics.

All in all a VERY nice shotgun that shoulders excellent. I can send more detailed pics to someone who is well versed in these.

Again, just trying to educate myself on them a bit more and expand my knowledge on firearms.

That gun is the "Lite" model. Looks like it was someone's field gun, which suits its intended purpose. More info is needed to assess value:
1) Position of the top lever. (right of center is desireable)
2) Chokes. (IC and mod would be desireable.)

As it stands, I would assume that the gun was carried a lot and shot little. Accordingly, value at +/- 1000$.

It is slightly right of center when action is closed, and its a fixed full choke I do believe

It's a standard grade super light even in canada where higher end and rare shotguns are found and this one is actually rare
it's a 2000$ gun
now you have to find a shotgun enthusiast
i will give you 1000$ instantly

All I know is I took it out today and put a handful of shells through it. It shoulders VERY nice, and functions awesome. I might have to keep this one in the safe. I was planning on maybe moving it and just going to a nice semi but plans might have changed.
