Stock for an FN FAL

Does anyone know where to get a stock for an FN FAL. Mine is still the same as the day I got it outta the crate and I am looking at making it a bit "nicer". Maybe even make it hard to spot as an FN without lookin hard.

Actually would like to "sporterize" it but realize with the way it strips down that is not possible. Anybody got any good ideas or better yet...pictures.

Canada Customs may block it as well, as the stock is for a prohib. You could still import it, but it would take more effort, as you will have to prove your legitimate ownership of said prohib.

If you can find a crappy old dewat with decent furniture, it might just be easier to get a stock that way. I think you can take the stock off an FN without breaking the upper/lower receiver welds on a dewat (not 100% sure), so you could just swap the stocks and then re-sell the dewat without much effort.
 
Thanks BrentN. First decent FAL site I have been directed to. Although still wondering about a more "sporty" look. If they werent so darned "mean" looking they maybe wouldnt have made the list ;)
 
go to GunPartsGuy. He's got everything to do with FNs, whether metric or imperial, He's got the best prices around and he ships to Canada.

correct , even for orders under a $100 requires a permit .

A5. The importation of ‘prohibited’ goods is strictly controlled by Canadian legislation. The import of prohibited firearms may only be undertaken by businesses with a Canadian Firearms Business Licence which supply such firearms to the police, military or theatrical/cinematic industries. For more information on import eligibility contact International Trade Canada or your Chief Firearms Officer.

The import of parts for prohibited firearms is controlled by the “Export and Import Permits Act” (EIPA) and an Import Permit is required. This is in addition to the IIC which may be required by the exporting country. The import of parts for prohibited firearms may require proof that the importer is a ‘grand-fathered’ owner of the firearms in question and that the imported parts are to maintain the prohibited firearm in a safe condition.
 
Tapco makes decent polymer furniture for both inch L1A1 and FALs.

Id opt for their furniture as an upgrade as it would be for a wall hanger... I may do this with my spare Ishapore. Maybe a nice Duracoat finish too from VGS in Petawawa ....

... and to answer all the people who as why bother with the FAL ... Because we Can !
