Not much options, Sharon is the closest but you need a share either rent(700+ a year) or buy(over 10k) to be a member. Target Sport is in door, had a few safety incident in the past, not good HVAC system. Barrie gun club you would be on waiting list from what I heard last.
If you don't mind driving at least 1 hour each way, there may be other options.
 
TIRPC is off to the northwest, Barrrie Gun Club further that way, Uxbridge Shooting is off to the east (shotgun/clays only) and there's a Port Perry club beyond that. Not just Sharon and Aurora. A lot depends on whether you're a rifle, shotgun, and/or handgun shooter. And probably waiting lists everywhere.

theres also gagnon sports if you dont mind driving a bit. they have indoor 50 yard range and a working HVAC

whats the going rate for a sharon share right now? i havent see any posting on EE recently.

Gagnon would be a bit far for him I reckon, like 80-100km one way.

Sharon's share becomes more popular after multiple bans and its location. I would guess it is somewhere around 13-14k now after they sold 300 shares at 10k each about 2 years ago for purchasing the land next door.

I think this is accurate considering I know people who purchased shortly after the 300 shares were exhausted and they paid $12K - this was in mid-2025, it's only higher now. Rentals are $700 - $800 a year but is negotiable.

Thats insane amount of $ to buy in and use the range...

Does the Port Perry club have a website? I ca't seem to find it.

I know. Because it is about only 30min driving from center area like North York of Toronto and it has 300m rifle range with multipe action shooting ranges.
If this is somewhere outside those heavily populated area and reasonable diatance to crown land, nobody would pay for that price.
