Thanks for taking the time to check it outThat's pretty sweet!
Wow. That was super fast! A quick glance at this and it looks like it'll do the trick!Good news, first version of this mode is live (“scope tracking” mode). Not perfect and can require multiple pages depending on configuration. Let me know if this is closer to what you were looking for.

One suggestion comes to mind, though others with more experience than me may disagree or have more to add here, is that, on tall targets, having a true vertical line bisecting the centre of the target grid area is important to identify cant in the scope/reticle. If your POIs are not landing parallel or perfectly superimposed onto the true vertical line, then it may be indicative of cant, which requires attention. Without this line, it would be more difficult to identify cant. For example,

I've also seen tall targets with perpendicular tick marks along the vertical line at important MOA or MIL intervals, usually whole numbers. (Tick mark at 1 MOA, 2 MOA, etc.) Although, your target grid already has these, so this might be less important of a feature than having that bisecting vertical line.
Thoughts?

Couple more updates. Thanks again to everyone sending feedback, a few things that are live now came directly from this thread.Got tired of printing targets with no real measurement built in, paying for apps, or buying overpriced target packs. So I built my own. MOA or MIL grids, a precision challenge mode, a tuning mode with numbered aim points for load development/lot testing, and a KYL mode. Scoring rings are corrected for bullet diameter and measurements are true angular, not the 1”/100y approximation.

No sign-up, no app, just print at 100%. Canadian one man operation, open to feedback.
Update: By popular request, scope tracking mode is now live.
Update: Improved target geometry to have more usable space and aim point size is now angular, not fixed.
My pleasure, hope it’s helpfulwhat a great idea, thank you shotdiagnostic
Users flagged a couple card formatting bugs with windage and overlapping text — fixed.Couple more updates. Thanks again to everyone sending feedback, a few things that are live now came directly from this thread.
Target PDFs now print a QR code that pre-fills the specs. Scan it at the range and you get the same caliber, distance, and mode without typing anything.
Also added a DOPE card formatter at shotdiagnostic.com/cards. Enter your data, pick wrist coach (3x5) or scope card size, download a PDF. MOA or MIL, dial or hold. Just formats data you already have. Range session log sheets on the same page.
Just added a "showdown" mode. Love the whole target generator, but this new showdown mode looks really fun. Can't wait to give it a try.Just added a "showdown" mode. The idea is to turn shooting paper into a scored multiplayer game with some shot allocation strategy behind it.
Awesome! It’s one of my favourites as well, the scoring rules + need for shot allocation strategy take it a bit above the precision challenge for friendly competitionLove the whole target generator, but this new showdown mode looks really fun. Can't wait to give it a try.
Most at-home printers don't do tabloid, but if there is enough demand, I would consider it. Would just need to spend some development time on the target spacing math. Were you looking for all target modes to support 11x17?any chance you could add an option to select either 8.5x11 or 11x17 page size?
I have access to a printer that can do larger format at my business. Mostly I'm just using the grid and challenge modes. Not a huge deal, was just curious since I like more targets on one sheet rather than multiple sheets. Appreciate the tool, regardless! Added a /learn page to the site for anyone helping newer shooters. Slider-driven visualizations for trajectory, angular math, group measurement, precision vs accuracy, wind, scope mechanics, and a few other things.
