So true on Context... I am no authoritarian on this subject. Please supply your findings so others may use you information to decide for themselves the best course of action. My findings are this is a grey area, if the road is maintained by the ministry of hwy then the shooting rule is enforced. If its not serviced by the ministry then it isn't. Hunting regulations are grey on these as no shooting area's are defined by MU's and area's of restrictions. I personally on the back roads don't shoot from the vehicle as it is poor sportsmanship, shooting from a shooting stick who cares. Best to know beyond where the shot will land as not knowning this can be dangerious. If your on an unmaintained road I would step off the road and take my shot and if ever asked I could truthfully state that I was not on the road when I took my shot.
