Been looking at this rifle since came out. I would like to see a folding stock model. Then I would all in

I sprung for a gen1, great rifle and see no need plus saved $800 over the gen 2 since suppressors are illegal (In Canada) so is night vision scope (for active nighttime hunting) in Canada. Now if I lived stateside I'd get the gen 2. Too bad Steyr doesn't do a limited run in .376 Steyr caliber.

This article says that the thread pitch on the ii is 5/8x24, which is not accurate. Thread is 1/2 x 28. Some options, but not that many

Look at the top pictures provided by the vendor. Steyr threaded the barrels for a can. I supposed you could put a brake on it, but why? Full picantinny rail is for optics with accessories. Gen 1 is about $600-800 cheaper than the 2. Capeesh

Ok ok I got it. Should have clarified, night vision scope with a suppressor to shoot animals in the dark like they do on hog/coyote hunts in the US.
