Butter.
Nah just kidding.
Clean the cylinders after each trip to the range and try to use the same length of brass is I think all a person can do.
I don't fire 38spl out of my 357s so the carbon rings aren't in different places.
I noticed sticky case removal in my sp101 22lr because I was shooting 22 shorts and then stingers.
I only try to shoot one type of ammo now
Dropping rounds out is a Hollywood thing - doesn’t happen in real life. Once you fire a round the pressure pushes the casing against the walls of the cylinder, and the rounds won’t drop out. That’s why the rod is there.
+1. It's called the ejector rod for a reason. If there is a problem with ejecting fired cases then the problem must be diagnosed and corrected. It isn't the ejector rod's fault.
Would a bit of excess case lube allow them to slide out once the cylinder has had enough rounds fired during the session to get it hot?
The Blackhawk is a bit of a pain because each case has to be ejected individually, would be neat to slowly spin the cylinder while each
casing slid out thru the gate on its own, like what happens when you are unloading unfired cartridges.
