Barry Dewick

Hello out there Ive just acquired a nice custom built Rlolling block on a remington actioon with a rather large octagon barrel in 40-65 wcf with nice double triggers. I removed the fore grip anbd found B. Dewick and a date . Anyone out theren know this fellow and if he still is out there. Rifle has beauty stock and a nice 14X long scope mounted.

I met him in Victoria about 1980. Very skilled stock maker. He left Victoria in the 80's I think. He might have passed a few years ago, not sure.

I mover to Prince George in about 1988 and worked in my shop in the basement part time

I did a lot of work for trapshooters--modify stocks -adjustable combs ect
This Jan i turned 84 and decided to retire
I did enjoyed the work and was treated very well by customers
Enjoy the 40-65

Great to hear you are still going. I just turned 83 and my eyes made me retire a few years ago.
