Remington 7400 rear sight where can I buy one

The rear sight, the part that slides up and down the resr sight base on my Remington 7400 .308 has gone missing.

If I can't find it, is there a retailer in Country that has them?
 
Check with your local gunsmith, I think the part you are looking for is called an "elevator".

I have the Meprolight Tritium sights on two of my Remington 870s.

The dot is a big larger than the standard 870/700/7400 sight.

But I found that I can acquire a sight picture much better in different lighting conditions. And not just at dusk or dawn ... but also in plain daylight/sunlight.

And of course the Tritium will glow in the dark .....

I am thinking about upgrading the iron sights on my Remington 700 as well ....
