Alberta cancels time changes.

I paid no heed to time-change, emotionally that is. It never bothered me, nor lost a minute of sleep, especilly when retired.

Saskatchewan and Alberta will be on the same time and BC will be 1 hour behind year round

BC and AB are about to make the wintertime DST experiment. The rest of us need but wait to see how they like it. One thing is I've always has the idea that most of SK stays on standard time, or am I wrong?

Ah, so I guess I was right then, about SK. The story I heard was that it was the farmers who insisted on it.

I experienced Sk and MB winnipeg-Regina about 400 miles but 1 hour diff so the sun sets much earlier(by the clock) in Regina. Less time for kids rec and adults rec in the evening. We could instruct full size gliding in Winnipeg every evening after work but it was not feasible outside of Regina.
Yes, the farmers wanted it to be daylight sooner in the AM. Vote might be different now.
