Bears leg in 44 mag

I made a birdshead type grip years ago using an old Rem 870 walnut stock and I made it a bit longer then a typical birds head and it came to bit of a hooked point at the butt..... I called it the "Grizzly Claw"

They should have hooked the grip shape a bit and called it the Grizzly Claw..... :)

The magazine capacity is not that great, it's listed as 4 for both .357 and .44mag, 3 rounds for the rifle calibres.

The Rossi Ranchhand 92's with their shorter barrel (12inches vs 13.8 inches) takes 6 rounds in the magazine.
This is exactly why I dislike Henry’s. That ridiculous tube loading setup takes away from valuable magazine space.

I had an 1892 in .357 mag, big ass lever loop, could hold 7 or 8 in the tube. Taught myself how to shoot it entirely one handed and never shot it any other way after that. Spincocking is a ton of fun. It’s a range toy after all.

I forgot about that difference... I guess the plunger is not as space efficient as a simple spring and follower.
The Bear's leg has the side loading gate and the tube loading which is probably the answer to "where die the extra capacity go" question....
Thanks for pointing that out!
