I'm just so happy with the results I just needed to share it. I purchased my Norc M14 last April at a local gun show and have been working on the transformation ever since.

The first pic is in July after I refinished the stock.

It is now safe to say I'm thoroughly addicted to the M14 platform and I have a very powerful feeling that this will not remain my only one in the collection.

Hey: What's that green ammo pouch belt / bandolier thingie you've got there? I've been looking around for something similar (in modern design) to lug .303 in?

Very nice that is along the lines of what I will do with the one I will be getting by the end of the month. I will probably pick up another one and keep it with more traditional furnishings but the other will get a nice fibreglass stock with all the gadgets. I am already addicted and I have not even bought one yet! lol
