I have seen them anywhere from 600-1700 depends on what they are and what condition they are in .Paid $700 for my plain 28" barrel in pretty nice maybe remarkable shape. Seen three at the last gun show 2 at 6-7 range one very nice deluxe for $1700 .All about what you want and willing to spend.I had a Browning 20 gauge model 12 with a rib sold it 5 years ago for $800 .

I would be looking for more of a shooter grade that's in good mechanical shape.

Bought a 1935 M12 solid rib 26” barrel Modified choke 20 ga (although only .009” constriction…more like an IC). Cost was $350 about 5 years ago. Was a reblue. Put a “modern stock” off a later model 12 with less drop heel and comb. Cut the pistol grip off and converted it to straight grip. Buddy checkered it. One of my favorite shotguns! Love it! Perfect grouse, quail and Hun shotgun in my opinion.

A reproduction model 12 asking in the $1500 range and they are not the same gun as a Win pre 64 no matter what anyone says the equivalant factory gun sells for much more. I have a mint factory 20 skeet gun that i have turned down offers of $2000 plus a vg field gun should fetch $800 or more. People are paying $5oo plus for new off shore crap pumps.

If I was in the market for a Mod 12 in 20 ga with a VR in very good condition, I'd be budgeting at least $1K. I've seen a nice Miroku Win Mod 12 repro in 20 ga for $1,500 at local gun show recently, which is a bit pricey, but I would never expect either the Win or Browning Mod 12s to sell below $1K if they're in nice shape. I have a Browning Mod 12 in 28 gauge and it's a beauty, definitely worth around $1K compared to what's new these days!
