Lee-En: Largest-Cap Boltie?

I saw an add in Shot gun news, (Sarco maybe?), for 20round K98 mags. I didn't a lot of attention, but I THINK they were claiming them to be oringal mags issued for trench warfare.

If I remember correctly they were not particularly effective because of problems with jamming and they were awkward to handle. The 10 rounder on the Enfield is pretty damn cool though. I am surprised they are still legal in Canada actually.

There are millions of Lee Enfields in Canada.

Good luck even TRYING to pay to get all those guns referenced and catalogued for a rule change...

I gaurantee you the Lee Enfield and its 10 round magazine will not be "illegal" anytime soon. Unless there's a blue moon and the NDP slip into a majority somehow.

You guys DO know that it's not just the Lee Enfield that can have more than 5 rounds right?

Any manual action can have an unlimited capacity.

Did they ever make them for Swedish Mausers? :)
If so I'll take one...if it is at a reasonable price. :)

They also altered MKIII to MG's with 30 rd sticks! I have an old article with specs somewhere in my old gun books.....................Harold

This is what Numrich has, Apparently new laws regarding exportation have been put into place. So you need a permit even if you are in the US.?
