did you get yours yet550$ if you pre-order at bullseye.
Waiting on mine
Nothing yetdid you get yours yet
Made in TURKEY???The only thing else I can say is, in today's times with prices the way they are, these new Winchesters seem like a pretty good buy
Please note the Winchester Ranger has a length of pull of 13". This makes it easy to shoot for most everyone...
The Savage Classic and Savage Deluxe Revel Models have an extremely long length of pull at 14.5". I can attest to the fact this length of pull is ridiculous, unless you have arms like a gorilla.......
Savage really screwed up on this 14.5" length of pull....My guess is this will cost them sales once everyone figures this out!

it's not even close to comparing with the original 9422Seems like a really good deal at $599, might have to pick one up myself for the kids.
How would you compare it to a 94/22?
Wiskeyit's not even close to comparing with the original 9422
not really aout drawbacks, more that the Ranger is nowhere near the quality of the 9422,,the 9422 will be around a long time past the time the Ranger will be crapped out,and the Ranger will NEVER appreciate in value..not to say the Ranger isn't a fun toy, sort of like a Henry,,Wiskey
What do you see as the main draw backs on your ranger vs the 9422?
How many rounds do you have through your new ranger?not really aout drawbacks, more that the Ranger is nowhere near the quality of the 9422,,the 9422 will be around a long time past the time the Ranger will be crapped out,and the Ranger will NEVER appreciate in value..not to say the Ranger isn't a fun toy, sort of like a Henry,,
i dont have a Ranger,,but i do have a bunch of various 9422's,i've handled the Ranger, and like i said,it seems like a good little rifle, and you seem to have had good luck with yours, what i meant was,the 9422 will always hold it's value and increase, and the build quality is way higher than these turkish winchesters, nothing wrong with them,or the Henry for that matter,,even the Savage is pretty good.just that none of them can be considered anywhere near a 9422..How many rounds do you have through your new ranger?
Always pays to have the gun store guy bring out 4-5 boxes so you can wood $hopYou certainly won the wood lottery. Beauties !
i have about 20 of them,i dont think i ever took one down,,LOL.9422’s were ‘lost leaders’ to get people in the gun store in the first place. The machining and hand craftsmanship was unparalleled. Winchester lost money on every one they sold however gents once in the stores purchased more items. I’ve owned 3 9422M XTR rifles, amazing in every respect.
Takedowns: if the screw slot has a rounded bottom, it’s made for a coin. Find out if you need a 1 cent, 5 cent or 10 cent screwdriver. Coins are softer and won’t mar the screw slot and provide all the torque that screw needs. Check it now and then and keep it coin tight.
I'm probably misreading something.. You say it's a 22LR but can't shoot them. Is that by choice or do you mean your 22LR won't chamber 22LR cartridges? CheersHere is the new Ranger 22LR lever action rifle, yes, it is made in Turkey , but I gotta say it is a winner. I bought two of these from accuracy Plus and the service and the guns are top notch!!
Wood to metal fit is excellent, lever action is smooth, metal black/blue is beautiful gun cycles and ejects like a 94/22 winchester, its well worth the money
Shot a few pack rats with it and the sights are bang on, note that this firearm DOES NOT feed or fire anything but 22LR, shorts and longs dont work in it.
Take down feature works very well, gun is worth every penny charged, so nice to have a Winchester 22LR lever again, regardless of where it is made, this rifle feels like a American made gun

LOL...there's not much in the way of 22's i haven't had in my hands over the years, i dont need to OWN one to know you can't compare a Kia to a ferrari,LOL.,,i handled and shot one at the range, enough to tell me,th ranger is a nice little rifle, but not remotely close to the original 9422's. of which i do own a bunch,To condemn a rifle not owned by one seems to lack credibility.
I read it that way the first time..... he's saying it only shoots .22lr.I'm probably misreading something.. You say it's a 22LR but can't shoot them. Is that by choice or do you mean your 22LR won't chamber 22LR cartridges? Cheers
