IWI is well proven where as Makasi....... go look up brigade manufacturing reviews on google you will see they are pretty much like NEA/BCL but located in Florida. Terrible reviews and then a bunch of cooked 5 star reviews to try and hide the truth.

Based on that alone I'll put my money on the IWI when they show up in stores.

There are a few obvious attention seekers here. He stands out among even them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I won't argue there. I doubt the two guns will be comparable otherwise. World class experience and manufacturing vs... what exactly? Some random Americans with CNC machines?

I am buying both so either way I am gonna be fine.

EDIT: The FRT below is for the 16" version.
The one that's being sold is 18.6" -- which makes a difference.
I didn't see any other FRT entries for CARMEL in the most recently available FRT at https://rcmp.ca/en/firearms/firearms-reference-table

Idrc about the IWI but saying Brigade have terrible reviews isn’t true lol. The bad ones are either about shipping or weird one off things. Stop putting other manufacturers down just because we got something new. Both can be cool

No, just based on my experience with IWI, going back into the IMI days quite a ways. Makasi is nobody and while they may do well enough they aren't going to compete in a lot of ways. Dig your heels in all you like. I will actually be comparing the two directly while you are pretending looks are why you aren't buying a Carmel.

Cgn seems to be full of boutique shoppers and gun snobs. Quite ironic when you see what options you have left now after the gopher has made her move.
