Just some info, SIR in Winnipeg is trying to get rid of about 54 Stevens 200 magnum rifles, there going for $230. Pick up in store only no mail order. I got one for my project, might go get another one.
 
Cheap a$$ donor action! I ordered a comp trigger and barrel wrench from Sharp Shooter Supply the next day. Now just pick the cartridge and order a match grade drop in barrel from Shilen, $300. :D
 
If they had any in .308 or .223 I'd snatch one up in a heart beat! Why wouldn't they do the mail order thing???
 
if anyone goes down there, could you check if they have any stocked in .223? I know the sale's only on the big ones, but I've already got a 300wm, I need something smaller to match.
 
Would anyone, please. Be interested in grabbing me one in 300 win mag? I would REALLY appreciate it, I need a new rifle. this would be my first precision rig :dancingbanana: . Please, anyone?

Bad news boys,
Just came back from SIR.Mario tells price is back up to $309.99.
Bit he did say to keep an eye out for the new spring flyer.
He says he wouldnt be surprised to see them reduced again.
Over 20 300s and several 7 still on hand.
 
Thanks for posting this info! I happened to have the day off work, so I was able to swing down there first thing this morning. Now I won't need to borrow some other persons rifle. Heck, my Savage .22LR costs more than this rifle! I think it's pretty hard to go wrong buying one of these at this price!

Well that sucks, guess I didnt act fast enough. Thanks for the heads up though, not to doubt you but I went ahead and called sir just to double check, they told me that the stevens 200 was discontinued and they no longer carried it :confused: . Who knows?

I was in SIR Winnipeg today, and was told there is no sale on Stevens magnums. I was told the sale started in Nov 07 and was over now. They do have 300WM Stevens, but at the catalog price of $310.
 
SIR is a huge mailorder depot. I get a lot of stuff from there. Was this Stevens deal for walk in's only?
