So you can just shoot those out of your normal 6.5cm? I wonder what kind of barrel life we are talking about with those velocity?
And what powder would be use to achieve those velocity?

barrel BBQ...keep your Gunsmith Happy

Standard 6.5 Creedmoor @ 62,000 psi @
2,500 – 3,000+ rounds @ 1 barrel
versus
Standard 6.5 PRC @ 65,000 psi @ 1,100 – 1,500 rounds @ 1 barrel
versus
Federal +Peak 6.5 Creedmoor @ 80,000 psi @ Estimated under 500 rounds @ 1 barrel.

PHYSICs deficiet....
To equal 6.5 PRC velocities out of a tiny Creedmoor powder volume, the peak temperature and physical pressure spike must be incredibly violent.

Cookin...HEAT IS NEAT!
Because peak pressure occurs right as the bullet engraves into the rifling, an 80,000 psi spike acts like a high-velocity plasma torch. It forces extreme heat into the steel surface, micro-cracking and stripping away the throat at a fraction of the time a standard magnum would.

The barrel life will be worse than the brass case I'm sure but not as bad as 6.5 prc. The amount of throat wear comes a lot down to flame temperature which depends on the amount of powder burned. The amount of powder burned will be the same as regular 6.5cm. Of course there's more factors but that's one of the largest that results in the fire cracking we see in barrel throats.

Shoot brass ammo for target and deer, switch to peak ammo for bigger game or long range.

.308. 175 terminal ascents next please
I’ll take a couple cases.

Regains me everything and more I lost going from 24” to 16” and it’s already my favourite bullet
I have a feeling they did this with 6.5cm because its a new cartridge and not many weak actions are made for it. Imagine if somebody throws a 80k PSI round into a .308 Lee Enfield.

Will be interesting to see what happens when some American throws this into a 6.5cm m1a rifle.

I want this in .300 win mag to turn it into a .300 ultra mag.

And here I just bought a bunch of regular Barnes 127gr LRX ammo. Well, guess the chances of shooting anything far enough away for it to be going too slow are low anyway, but nice to have the option! lol
