Derya pump and bolt action 9mm pcc

And how much money did you guys put out for these pieces of sh!t?........

No thanks!.......:(
About what a Ruger PC9 cost before Justinflation..... it is what it is.

Question is whether or not North Sylva will pass along the customer testing results and maybe the next shipment will be improved.

There have not been many range reports but so far other then the magazine potentially being pushed in too far, they seem to shoot accurately.

The mag over insertion could likely be somewhat remedied with a roll of electrical tape....

I agree, however it would appear the corrupt Liberals have won yet again.......:(

The Ruger PC9 should not be prohibited for any reason, it's not registered, so F@CK the Liberals and Carney!

I don't mind Turkish firearms if they are made well. I own a few of them. This thing looks like absolute garbage. Your mileage may vary.........

One may as well get a quality single shot 9mm, or buy a 9mm Chiappa Tube Adaptor for your shotgun, less money, less trouble, Liberal approved, and doesn't need all these modifications from stoned Turkish employees who are smoking BC BUD while assembling these pieces of sh!t guns.....:ROFLMAO::oops::LOL:

I took mine out shooting yesterday
Had no issues with the mag seating and feeding but ejection is very weak, most of the rounds barely fell out of the ejection port
Accuracy was quite good even for my crappy shooting
This is at 25 yards using a Burris fast fire 3 red dot
Yep as was said above this thing for sure ain’t a ruger pc-9, ASR, or any other semi that we used to be able to have :(
I hate Liebrals…..

That's strange. Mine ejects stainless steel (heavy) Snap-Caps across the living room, lol. The ejection is nuts, like a semi-auto.

Maybe something is wrong with the extractor spring or extractor edge on yours, where it doesn't grab the round correctly...?

Quality control is one thing. what an importer accepts for their market is another and then as you point out there is finally what the end use customers will tolerate.

Many Canadian gunowners are suffering from Govt induced Trauma and might not be in a good state of mind at the moment.... hopefully North Sylva will step up to bat at some point......

Mine ejects full loaded cases with authority but not fired empty ones

Just to let you know, I've taken my DYPA-12 Tactical apart yesterday and identified what the problem is : some confused assembly worker at the Derya factory had mismatched the bolts from the aluminum "stock / grip block" and the grip itself.

In essence, if you take the gun apart, you end up with 4 large hex bolts : two of them join the upper / lower receiver, one of them goes through the grip to secure it and the last one joins the aluminum "stock / grip block" to the rear of the receiver. Three of the bolts are of equal length, except for the fourth one which is maybe 1/4" LONGER. That longest bolt needs to be the one joining the "stock / grip block" to the receiver. I had to swap mine with the bolt they had used inside the grip.

After the bolt swap, everything went much better together. The longer bolt grabbed more threads inside the receiver and secured the stock / grip to the receiver much better. Problem solved!

.

The swapped bolts was exactly the same for me, I figured it out by accident by putting the wrong bolts in. At least it wasn't a significant issue, and the thing shoots very nice besides

It's possible that the fired (expanded) case is dragging too much in the chamber. My stainless snap caps were really hard to pull out of the chamber on the first few tries, to the point where I thought the pump mechanism was stuck. Then it got easier after a few tries.

These are the stainless 9mm snap caps I use and recommend. Being stainless, they seem to put more wear on the feeding components on new guns than plastic or even brass, which is what we want to "break them in" :

My limited experience thus far tells me that things should *probably* improve with further use. Maybe spraying some lube in the tight chamber would improve extraction and ejection?

.

I’m running it pretty wet with Ballistol but maybe it needs more rounds through it I only shot 30
The nice thing about it not launching cases is they are easy to find for reloading them back up lol

Yes. The word is stay away from Derya garbage!...........:ROFLMAO:

Jokes aside, I'm sure that if you held one in your hands that was a little tinkered with to smooth it out (like mine), you'd be buying one as well.

Is it perfect? No. Does it feel nice, nimble and solid in the hands? Yes, surprisingly. It's a manual repeater with a 12" barrel, Glock mags and a very nice feel to it. Even if Turdo's illegal OIC ban to please Polycommie didn't happen, I would've bought this one regardless. It's very close to a perfect truck, ATV, camping, boating, etc. utility and emergency rifle due to it's short size, capacity and proper centerfire caliber.

I have to admit that the machining on this Derya is top notch, on par with some more expensive contenders we used to have available, like the JR Carbine or the Ruger PC Carbine - both currently "banned" by the lying & gaslighting LIEberal Sacks of Sh*t (SS) Party, of course.

Word to the wise : Don't hate on Derya for bringing us new possibilities. Blame your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers who voted LIEberal, NDP or PPC. They are the reason why we can't have nice things and why the economy and our freedoms are a f**king dumpster fire!

I’ve had two Derya 12 gauge semi auto shotguns in the past ( the ar looking ones) that worked great and have the tm22 semi 22lr tactical rifle and it is good
I always thought Derya was one of the better Turkish brands out there, that’s one of the reasons why I got this 9mm pump
There is a few things I don’t really care for with this 9mm but it’s workable
My biggest gripe is the sloppiness on how the rear stock assembly attaches and the lack of a pic rail on the pump forend
The thugs will like this thing as it turns into a 7 eleven special once the rear stock unscrews off lol
I’m guessing lock tighting the buffer tube to the rear threaded portion would fix that I just used teflon tape to get rid of the sloppiness in the threads

I added a piece of electrical tape across the threaded part of the aluminum block and then screwed the stock tube back on, after someone else here mentioned having used Teflon tape to do the same. Electrical tape is a bit thicker and black, so it won't show.

It made the stock tube very rigid now and it doesn't rattle anymore. No complaints!

Any word on ETA for the bolt-action version?
I started a thread in the North Sylva section asking about it yesterday..... my success rate with asking them questions is about 10% so I'm not holding my breath..... :)

Derya said 3rd quarter to people at Shotshow. That was for the bolt action, they didn't even have a pump 9mm at the show so things are a bit discombobulated until someone further up the food chain weighs in.

The 12" barrel would be almost useless for me, and it has to be spot on 12" or longer to use and hunt in BC.

I agree with your sentiments on these @ssholes we currently have at the helm in Canada. Unfortunately this will not change anytime soon. Total disarmament is the WEF, WHO, UN, and the Liberal plan for everyone in the world. So this crap isn't going to change without a push-back of a civil war.......:(

I don't own any Glocks of any kind, nor do I own a Glock magazine of any kind. I always had the S&W M&P pistols, and still do......:)

I have handled Derya products and was not overly impressed. I did originally like the idea, but then I see all the issues with yours and others, I've decided I'm out.

Those who own firearms and vote Liberal should be flogged, or banned from Gunnutz. These Liberal Bastards are destroying this once great country. I do not see Canada ever recovering from the sh!t-storm they have created with the cost of food, housing, fuel, heat, hydro, etc. Even if the Conservatives somehow got a majority government tomorrow, how many years would it take to recover? Ten, twenty, thirty maybe? It won't happen in my lifetime anyway.......:( And to be honest, I only see it getting worse if stupid people keep voting Liberal..........:(

We get it. But it's off-topic and boring to read political ramblings in the PCC sub-forum. Lots of other sub-forums and threads for that, have at it.

I appreciate the shares by those who are hands-on with their issues and resolutions. I've yet to meet a firearm that didn't benefit from some fluff and buff or community upgrades.

Regardless of theatre or need for tinkering there's something unique in a non-restricted 5lb 28" soft-shooting center-fire pump-action. At least for now (three more coming soon).

You are not wrong on almost everything you said. The only two things I disagree on are :

1 - Turning the economy on a dime and restoring freedoms in a matter of just a few short years is 100% feasible under a Conservative majority and a CPC leader who is willing to actually do it. I believe Pierre Poilievre is that guy. I've met him and spoke with him briefly, he gives off a good and honest vibe... unlike the sleazy career politico LIEberal MPs I've also had the misfortune of meeting, lol.

Our energy sector, once unlocked and freed from LIEberal blockades, literally has UNLIMITED resources that could propel Canada to the World's #1 economic juggernaut for the next 1000 years. The only thing missing are politicians willing to put wokeness and climate alarmism aside to unlock these literal goldmines of Canadian wealth and prosperity for all our citizens. Keeping these resources in the ground is about control, not about "saving the climate". Energy pricing control IS population control ;

2 - I'd be willing to bet you'd like the DYPA-12 Tacticool very much, once you got to handle it. Indeed, mine required some minor TLC, as expected. The electrical tape I mentioned was a quick fix for buffer threading that wasn't tight enough for my taste, no big deal. Mags are cheap and plentiful. RDSC has a whole bunch of Magpul P-mags in different flavors / pinned capacities for $29.99 - $39.99 a piece. The firearm also comes with TWO factory 10-round mags, so you don't actually have to buy more.

Anyway, back on topic of this AWESOME new firearm!

This has the potential of achieving SKS-like popularity in Canada, in the near future.

:)
