Anyone know if you are able to use Beretta extended Optima chokes in Benelli M4s?

If not, any recommendations for extended chokes?

So after asking Stoeger Canada I was told that
Mobil Victory chokes would work in Benelli M4.
I ordered 2 but they do not screw all the way to bottom out at knurled section.
Does not seem correct 🤔

That does not look correct.

It appears you have run out of threads on the barrel.

You could have the barrel threaded further / deeper (Tac Ord would be my go to for such a task) if you wish to proceed with these.

How does the internal lengths of the chokes compare with what was in there previously (and I am assuming fitted correctly)?

Internal modified choke that came with shotty is shorter.
Figured I was safe when I asked Stoeger and they confirmed fitment.
All good 👍🏼…gonna return them!

I would put zero faith in that.

Not gonna take your thread into a slanging match about Stoeger but every time I call Stoeger I come away bewildered that the parts person can be equally unknowledgeable and condescending at the same time.

A guy must have to work up that level.

Try Al’s Corner Store, look for Benelli/Beretta Mobil chokes, he should have lots of them. That is what you need for your M4
You are looking for the “ A” style on the chart
I like the Carlson extended chokes personally, exactly like the 3 pack of competition chokes you posted earlier in this thread 👍

Not trying to pee in your cherrios but that extended Mobil Victory choke tube is fully seated,They do not seat any deeper than that. I have three sets they all seat that way on my 686 B guns. The Victory choke is a great choke for the money. Stoeger has been ok with all of our orders but don't look for technical answers from the office staff.

My Victory chokes seat the same in my A300 , 1000's of rnds through them with no issue.

I am sure the Victory chokes would be fine but no way in hell my OCD could handle it.
I am a man of symmetry 😜

It has been my experience that asking parts related questions to the parts guy was equally as unsuccessful.

You can get Briley ex tubes they fit up to the nurled portion of the choke but you can expect to pay doube the price of a Victory tube and you can get them in black oxcide finish for extra $10 US dollars to feed OCD.:D

100% on board with that sentiment! There is NO WAY I could look at that every time I picked up my shotgun, that would drive me mental 😂🤣🤣
All my extended Carlson chokes fit flush to the barrel when screwed in on many different shotguns 👌

Then they're not extended chokes, they are flush chokes.
