Brigade Makasi MK15 We're back in business!!

Most of our SKS's come from Ukraine...there has been a war going on there. Ive seen the import invoices. Its not like they are still getting them for $100 and making bank. Overseas is selling them for more.
That is a much better way to actually help Ukraine instead of the gov's stupid and now abandoned plan to send Candian formererly NR prohibs to Ukraine. It actually proves the argument against the government. The SKS is not a suitable to be a current weapon of war. The lack of full auto fire and longer length make it unsuitable for anti-drone work, and clearing buildings and trenches. A formerly NR prohib has the same problem. We should be buying those SKSs to fund real weapons of war for Ukraine, and we should be able to keep and use formerly NR firearms, damn it!

Bolded items are all incorrect. The SKS does the same thing as any other repeating firearm.

2 cents.

Again, totally wrong. The SKS has a bayonet right on the end of it. It is specifically made for clearing trenches. Further, that makes it specially suitable and intended for the military assault, which is the part prior to the trench clearing. "current" is not a quantifiable argument as trenches could still be cleared yesterday, today and tomorrow with any thing so long as it performs deadly force.

Being semi vs automatic does not lean either way for "anti-drone" work as any rifle in general perform very poorly at that role. So this argument is also wrong.

If the AR-15, the airport security guard rifle is prohib because it's "military" or "assault"-anything, then the SKS should be too based on that retarded liberal party logic.

I suspect bad arguments about firearms is likely one of the leading causes of the entire LPC's mentally retarded policies on firearms. So if arguments have to happen, at least they should be truthful and honest. Otherwise we get the sh!t we have now.

2 more cents.

There was absolutely nothing of value to gain from that video, all I saw was a fat & stupid man with poor muzzle control....

Was there something else we should have noticed?
It is amazing the things I missed when watching this the first time. That muzzle was swinging all over the place...isn't that guy the owner of the company?

The camera angle does make it look scary if that's an issue after he's broken down the rifle and cycled it a few times. He could skip a few meals tho... ...

Is the barrel the same as an AR barrel? What makes the handguard mounting proprietary to the receiver? If the barrel is the same and the receiver can be modified to accept 416 handguards, aftermarket barrels and piston systems might be able to be swapped onto it and make it really good because it sounds like the main problem with it is the gas system and QC of parts/assembly.

is this a standard AR barrel? Could we swap out the barrel for a proof research carbon fiber barrel is we wanted to?

I phoned Brigade, and confirmed with them they need to update their manual, as the captions for the adjustable gas settings are indeed reversed, as noted by the fellow who bought the restricted Makasi from IRunGuns. So, officially from the guy at Makasi (Rob, if I remember right), the Unsuppresed has the slot in vertical orientation, perpendicular to the ground, while suppressed has the slot in horizontal orientation, parallel to the ground.

They will be working on updating the manual. Thanks to our IRunGun early adopter Greentips for letting us know!
