Spectre G3 10/22 Chassis

Is there enough room on the picatinny rail of the st22 receiver for an lpvo in a cantilever Mount as well as an offset reddot mount?
I would say yes.

As long as you don't have a mount that cants forward too far so you can still get a good sight picture. (One that's straight up and down at the rear not forward would be best). If that doesn't work you could mount it at the forward end under the mount.

Alright, we have some exciting updates regarding our G3 chassis,

First, we're increasing production of them substantially. This will help us keep them in stock.

Secondly, we're moving away from anodizing to cerakote for the finish. This is for us to get a more consistent finish from batch to batch and part to part. Black anodizing isn't terrible, but tanodize has been a constant pain. Between runs, and even between the chassis and handguard, there have been color differences. This is the nature of the dye. Therefore we decided to move to cerakote.

We will be offering 2 cerakote color options, black and burnt bronze. Black is well, black. It looks great, and always will. Burnt bronze is close to our tanodize color and looks amazing.

Our first run of chassis with cerakote is finished. Most of it has been allocated for rifle builds and dealer booking orders (which have shipped to our distributor, so they'll be in stores soon). We have some available on MagDump now.

Would love to see how much variation there is when it comes to Tanodize. Much more so now since I’m one of those guys who got the G3 Chassis without any markings, alongside the G2 Superlite chassis. The color variation between those two alone is very noticeable.

I know most people like consistency, but I personally prefer color variation between parts when it comes to your Tanodize. It just adds far more character to me.

Agreed, I'm one of those weirdos who actually enjoys the aesthetics of those "50 shades of FDE" builds so I'm kinda sad to see tanodize going away.

Ah well, burnt bronze looks good too. Not-so-patiently waiting for a restock of Superlight handgaurds for my next build!

Just arrived yesterday, got it all assembled up.

For anyone wondering, a volquartsen summit will fit, as will the tg2000 trigger pack - due to the scallops on the back sometimes on other chassis it won’t work, like the grey birch.

I knew this going in, so this isn’t a dig at Spectre, the summit’s top rail is slightly higher than all other 10/22, so it’s not a perfectly level up with the front rail, but its darn close with this 1.54” leupold ar mount and the standard hydra mount.

It’s 1/4” short of 26” OAL with the Midwest folder, hence the flash hider.

Overall, this chassis is excellent. Fit and finish is superb. Fitting the handguard to the body of the chassis did mar up the cerakote where it meets (not visible) once its installed- so beware if you’re someone who cries over that, lol.

Great looking build!

Great build! For me after lots of iterations, I came back to simply this. Easy to find parts and easy to run

Early run G3 chassis
SBI C-71 receiver
14” (yeah, no it’s actually 14”) 10/22 SR22 barrel, might replace it with SBI 12.5” if anything goes wrong
Vortex Triumph red dot
REAL Unity FAST micro
Magpul MOE K2
Ruger BX trigger
Magpul MLOK handstop
Magpul MOE stock
SBI tube adapter
Streamlight ProTac 1 rail

Got this barrel from a guy on GP parting his SR22, never knew they actually made a 14” barrel. Bolt remains factory since my budget went out when I was done with it. Haven’t tried it yet so I hope it won’t cause a squib or anything, since I checked everything I could and the barrel looks brand new
