Can someone please upload more photos of the actual firearm? I dont think I'd want a wooden stocked one, it looks like spunky softwood with a rough inlet, but prove me wrong.

Yeah, I'd like to see the bolt, action, and trigger mech.

I know Turkey likes to use the 10/22 mags in several different rimfire models from the Springfield 2020, Adler, etc.
if it's along the lines of the Springfield, they have a Rem 700 style trigger and can be swapped out with any 700 trigger, that would be a bonus, and they kinda look like that from the pics.
The 2020 action is pretty much a CZ452 type with dual rear locking lugs, very nicely made, but they are hit and miss in the accuracy department.

Looks like heavy stained beech to me, enough to hide the half moons and wide grain lol
They still could be Chinese made, when I first Googled them it said Turkish by Girsan, today it's Chinese, Turkish, or made in Canada by Savage lol.
Zero info on these until someone gets it in hand
Lol, I went to the website and checked stock, the wood-stocked shortie showed as "in stock". Came back here to this thread, read the new posts, went back to the website to order...SOLD OUT!
I'm gonna mull over switching to the synthetic shortie...probably long enough for that to sell out as well...

They are definitely made by Girsan, North Sylva commissioned Girsan to make it for them to their specs, girsan make nice firearms
Girsan does not show any .22lr rifles on their website and an LLM search doesn't turn up any results for an existing line of .22lr rifles.
It's probably made by someone else would be my guess and re branded.
Where did you hear that it's a special run for North Sylva made by Girsan?

"Built on the stellar international reputation of theTurkish manufacturer, Girsan". is a strange way of not saying "made by Girsan"
It's also strange that there is no internet mention of Girsan building .22lr rifles.
Regardless, I hope they shoot well, are well built, and the parts supply will be large yet unneeded for a long time!
This is the second "out of the blue" soft launch with no CGN pre-release-hype by North Sylva this summer..... seems to be a new trend for them?
