I was just checking out my new Supernova and happen to notice this “crack” alone the top of the receiver. Although I’m not sure it’s actually defective or not. It could just be how the finish looks from the manufacturing process on these shotguns.
I was hoping maybe another supernova owner could check theirs out to see if theirs looks similar to mine.
Mine is still unfired so if it is actually defective I’d like to know so I can return it.
Here’s a few pics of it

It looks more like a crack when looking at it through the ejection port. Especially because it seems to start from the tapping for the pic rail.
But after I took it apart to get a better view of it seems that it may just be where the plastic meets the metal from the molding process. I can definitely feel it when running my finger along it.
Here’s the view from the bottom. I had a hard time getting a good pic from this angle. But it seems to be along both sides which leads me to believe that it might be normal.
Maybe I’m just being paranoid. But I was hoping maybe someone else here who has a supernova could check theirs to see if it’s the same.
