I never understood people buying these sets. Just buy a used single stage press and regular dies, much more versatile.
Back then that was maybe all he could afford and minute of bear was good enough, he probably did not produce precision ammo with it ; )My great grandfather carried one of these in his saddle bags everywhere. When he was guiding sitting around camp at the end of the day he would reload.

Add a good quality powder scale, calipers, a bullet comparator, and use those handloads in the same rifle the case was fired from and your results should be pretty good but won't win you any BR compititions.Wanted to get into reloading 308 for my precision shooting. Guy said this was the best money could buy and gave me a great deal at only $200 for the entire setup!
