hey guys whats the better option ya rekon for a ruger 1?

skinner posts to aus for $21---- not bad at all, so it will be about $100 landed. Skinner peep.
NECG i think do post also- its a little more expensive

Skinner seems no frills?

Just standard Ruger 1 , so a half rib, pre drilled top . Factory rifle.

I lost the blade sight 😂😂 so I made one out of epoxy.. killed some deers with it but it's one of those guns that , only I can use haha.

I think the skinner is calling me, before any further price rises.

As for NECG, I was hell bent on them a while ago, hmmmmm

i just ordered the Skinner for my Ruger 1---- it was payday, but i best go back to work next week LOL

shipment coming out of America- landed here for $96 . seems like a good deal this end for a solid sight and i can rid the epoxy clay V im using.

also got 200X 180 speers inbound too :D

Their customer service and bunch of emails back forth to get nowhere ticked me off years ago. Also how they sell everything individually and not as sets (back and front post) The shipping seems excessive for a small envelope (only containing a bead or screws etc). Their front posts black or brass are just meh, I've had to file down every one of their posts to make it work, even ones sold specifically for that gun. I prefer looking at the fiberglass front than old school brass bead or post. And so on. Bunch of personal reasons.

lol yeappp, sounds personal-

for some, a little customing to perfeection is warrented, whilst others in this day an age, want it slip on an be perfect.

a few variables regarding the front posts- velocity of loads etc!

I have used NECG barrel banded front sights and rear peeps on my my 2 Ruger M77 MkII custom rifles in 376 Steyr and 416 Taylor. Can get the same for the Ruger No.1.
Ordered well in advance for the custom builds, they arrived in time for the builds.
I like their robust ruggedness! And nice lines.
I like that if my scope fails, I take off the scope and rings, and the rear peep (carried in a small case in my backpack), screws onto the integral bases of the action. Just need to pack the Fat Wrench to ensure torque is consistent when installing the peep.
