Ramshot powders for reduced loads/cast loads?

Wondering if any of you have used any of the Ramshot line of faster powders for reduced loads/cast loads? I see that a lot of them are double based spherical" (is that ball powder with another name?) I'm not familiar with them at all, but wondering if there is any utility using them the same as you would with Unique or Herco and so on. One's I'm wondering about include Zip, True Blue, Enforcer, Silhouette etc. Any thoughts appreciated.
 
I use True Blue and Enforcer for .357Mag loads and also for reduced loads in 303Brit and 308Win. Cast projectiles only.
True Blue seems to burn a mite cleaner than Enforcer.

I've used several of the Ramshot powders for reduced & full power reloads for years.
Competition-Norma R1,H-titewad,IMR WST,WW WFL burn rate
Zip- Bullseye burn rate
True Blue-W- Auto Comp,Alliant Be-86 burn rate.
Silhouette-W 231,HP-38 burn rate
Enforcer-H 110,W 296 IMR SR4759 burn rate

The above meter much better than Unique or Herco flake powders.
 
The challenge is navigating around all the powder shortages and changes in manufacturer's offerings. I used to use a lot of Unique and Trail Boss, but lately it's been WST behind the milder revolver loads. I have used 5744 and CFE Pistol behind warmer loads. And I'm sure I haven't had to compare reloading charts with retailer websites to pick the best actually-available thing for the last time either.
 
Not ramshot but, I like VV N350 pistol powder for reduced rifle loads. No load data for that.... It work fine, similar burn rate as blue dot. Takes a lot of volume in the case. In 223, it's 60% full. 2400fps.
 
Thanks for the opinions guys. I suppose I'm a victim of my own circumstance, as it seems one day you're sitting on a pile of Titegroup/Clays/Unique/Herco/BlueDot, and the next day, decade, whatever, there's a whole bunch of empty jugs.:ROFLMAO:

For mild .38 and .44-40 cast lead loads I’ve been using a fair amount of WST lately. It is clean burning and doesn’t leave powder grit kernels in the bore, same with Clays.

Fortunately I had those when I was out of Bullseye and not sure I really need BE at this time. AA2 and Zip were ok but less clean for me loaded light.
 
Imr4227 works really well with cast .303 brit. 24.5 grains gets me around 1850fps with a cast, g.c. .314 diameter 215 grain. Very fun to shoot, easy on the shoulder. Doesnt need dacron, but the real cold weather got me some delayed ignition.

Use large pistol primers too.

I'm a fan of 4227 as well, just trying to stock up on some alternatives before I run out of my usual powders.
