Yeah, that really isn't even close.I have 2 - .44 mag inserts in my old Belgian double barrel 12 gauge. Almost the same for much cheaper.
Agreed.. why chamber the 44mag is this style of double. Kind of anemic.. dont get me wrong, thumper of a caliber for a 11 year old. Seems like there following the jackel rifleI have 2 - .44 mag inserts in my old Belgian double barrel 12 gauge. Almost the same for much cheaper.
Agreed. And probably built like a tank..I'm not current with what's available but I think this is the cheapest SxS unless a guy finds a used Baikal.
While I agree prices are high the market is saturated with cheap guns. Most new shooters are not looking for a double rifle thats made in low numbers.I think that if we want the shooting sports to survive the gun manufactures need to bring the prices down. Young shooters just starting out cannot afford these kind of prices. It is the new shooters that will keep the sport alive but not if they can't afford it.
The Kodiak is chambered in 4570. Its more expensive thoughI always liked the Petersoli double rifle however, not chambered in the 44 magnum. I have a S&W 29-3 revolver in that cartridge, but not in a rifle. A 45-70 would be nice!
Agreed but it does seem that prices have gone a bit crazy. While I agree prices are high the market is saturated with cheap guns. Most new shooters are not looking for a double rifle thats made in low numbers.
For those who can afford doubles it would be a nice fun gun that you can enjoy and shoot cheaply and often and can share with friends. 44mag in a carbine is capable of all the deer types in north america and is fine for most black bear hunting.
What hasn't? A new mossberg 500 goes for over 700 now. 3 bags of groceries cost 300 and a tank of gas is 180Agreed but it does seem that prices have gone a bit crazy.
You wouldnt happen to be a zappafan, would you?The same in .500 or .460 S&W would tickle my pickle.
