Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone can give me a price estimate on one of these. I would rate it in good condition ex. a fixable hairline crack behind the receiver. Stock showing signs of use, bore bright and shiny. It has the original Parker Hale aperture sight on it, but no front sight hood. It's marked "US Property" so part of the lend/ lease program. Any ballpark ideas?
Thx, A/D

Lend-Lease ended in 1945.
Should bring $250 or so.
I'd say more. Is the dust cover on the bolt still intact? Is the trigger guard still the proper shape? Aside from the crack, the only other thing I see detracting from value is the coloured safety position indicators are missing. What's the mag situation?

The plastic fire indicator plug is reproduced (they are ridiculously overpriced though) I have used the pins from a cribbage board, they look OK, no F engraved on the top though, I have seen guy's that have actually carved the letters in.
Tons of info in the Mossberg sub forum on rimfirecentral, if you want to sell it, my guess is no problem to get $350, it's worth more probably but it takes longer to find "that guy"

I had thought to fill the holes and just use nail polish for colour but will leave that to the new owner if the gun ends up being sold. I see Numrich and a company called #####h ( based in AZ and Penticton of all places?) have the little coloured plugs for $4 each. Not too bad.
Thanks for the value opinion... seems to be consistent.
