M39 slings in 2026

Has anyone seen a Finnish M39 slings in Canada in the last year or two? Or have reliable source that ships to Canada? I’ve seen a couple green leather ones on eBay out of Latvia but I prefer the canvas style if I can find one.

Liberty Tree has them, but no longer ships to Canada. You would need a US-based friend to order it and re-ship it to you. Not sure why, but they wont ship ANYTHING to Canada, including non-gun parts. A few years back, they used to ship just about anything here.

Have you tried Intersurplus? Corwin Arms seems to have a fair amount of milsurp slings as well.

What was the sling for that came from the tradex mystery box, some smg sling? I'd buy a couple if I could find them.

If I had to guess they probably got burned a few times and stopped. Hard to get anything out of the States these days, not like a decade ago.

The most ly workaround at some of these places is to order non-gun parts with a US credit card with a us billing address.

Yeah I’ve checked every surplus retailer I could find, I was actually surprised at how little Corwin arms has at the moment but I suppose these sorts come and go as lots turn up.

Can’t justify having it brokered for something so small. Maybe I’ll just make my own, seems fitting for a wartime era Finn rifle.

Polish SMG sling, intersurplus still has them listed as European sporting gun slings for $20

I called and asked about it when they first started refusing Canadian orders. During the lockdown they lost a bunch of parcels when cross border mail was a getting delayed like crazy and ended up taking some losses so a decision was made to discontinue foreign sales.
