Northernrim .22LR Rifles are Now In-Stock!

Anyone have any issues with the rail being outta spec on these? I mounted a 3x12 vortex and ran outta up adjustment trying to get a 25 yard zero. Something definitely is outta wack with my rail on the rifle
This is starting to sound like a trend.... are the rail's drilled and tapped into the receiver?
It seems like the barrels might be drooping a bit on some units.

How much shim did it require and are you now in the middle range of your elevation turret or still on the high side?

I was going to buy one from tenda last week along with the Derya 9mm bolt but had to cancel the order due to them not being willing or able to do PAL verification by video call.
The rail slides on to the dovetail and then screwed to top of the receiver. I was at the range so I just took a piece of ammo box cardboard ant put it in the ring then remounted the scope. Didn’t check to see i where the reticle was in its range of travel. Was able to zero at 50. This rifle has been a big disappointment. Not worth the money. I’m going to call Tenda Montday and see if I can return it and get my money back. Only thing I like is the stock.

Thanks for the details DB, good luck with Tenda.

Yep i agree huge disappointment. There is definitely something off. Ill check everything over with the grub screws on the barrel but im very certain it has something to do with the rail to the receiver. It looks uneven at the rear (almost twisted to one side) and there is gaps between the receiver and rail on either side of the action. Scope was max elevation up and I was 5 inches low. The mags that came with it are trash and make it really hard to cycle the action( 1 only holds 9) and it did not group very well with cci standard, mini mag or Norma tac. Very disappointment so far. Will be reaching out to Tenda for a replacement

As much as it sucks for the first wave of buyers fleshing these guns out, it's nice to hear the news good or bad for the rest of us that have been considering buying one!
The first reports were fairly positive but lacking in actual reports of accuracy with commonly used .22lr ammo.

Found the error in my math. I used a straight edge across the front of the receiver and didn’t subtract that from the bolt face to receiver face measurement. Head space is actually.046. The eley match rims are approximately.039. So still probably the cause of light strikes. I’ll try and make a .003 to .004 bolt shim if I have something that will work. Should be able to shoot all ammo types after that.
