Dont do it. For 50$ you can get the ARMS 18 from Wolvirine which is tested and true.

There are some stickies on M14 mounts in the "main battle rife" section or just do a search for "M14 Mounts".

$50? I can only find them for $180 plus. Can you point me in the right direction?
 
i fell for all this "m14 talk" as well .. *shakes fist in air at all of you m14 guys*!!!

Seriously, I dont think you can go wrong with this rifle. And in 2 years when the supply dries up, I think they will end up being worth $600-800. Not that I would EVER dream of selling this thing though!

Looks great, but I guess I have a bit of cleaning ahead of me....Any recommendations on how to clean her up?.....I know, I know...try a search first...:D
 
JUST AN UPDATE;
We have another 40ft container load of M-14s due in port April 16th....

Already 70% sold.... We Are accepting orders for delivery in May. No deposit or prepayment required....

We bill your card when we ship.... Don't be disapointed....

One more container after this one....Then it is all over....

Of course many new toys to replace the M-14 are due for this summer

I sprayed the crap out of mine with Break Free Powder Blast. Cleaned it right up!!

Well, I just got the scope I plan on putting on the rifle. After considering many posts, I went with the Bushnell 3200 10x40 Mildot. I picked it up for $245 at LeBaron. I know they are slightly cheaper elsewhere, but with shipping and tax, not to mention the close local to return it (if I have too), it all worked out.

I have also read up on rings, but if I do not need the quick release, what is the general consensus and best value for money? (getting the arms 18 mount)

Hmmm

Just got my registration cert in the mail from our friendly neighbourhood CFC, showing a Model number of M14S..

Firstly, I thought the Norc was a M-305S? and Secondly, isn't the M14 prohib by name?

Just curious .. NOT complaining at all :)
