I dont know ARs, but yes there are two push pins that remove the top section from the bottom.

Does the bolt slide out towards the rear after?

Yes!

You take the pins out like an AR and then tap some smaller pins out to drop the metal plate above shown. Charging handle screws out. Then you have to sort of pry the bolt out against the recoil spring which is above the bolt. I am certain one of you guys with a YT channel will make a video. All you need is an allen key for the charging handle and a wide flathead screw driver.

I've had great feedback from a couple folks, do you know if a short barrel (most likely with non folding stock for OAL compliance?) is in the works?
