My second Win 70 Target. Its taken something like 6 months to get the bases I wanted, to ensure the feed port had lots of access, then threw on an older S&B fixed 10.

yup. I now have two targets in 308 and an early stealth in 308. Really like the winchester heavy barreled rifles in 308.

Would be cool if Remington/Winchester would make a Vietnam era “sniper rifle” that is affordable again.

Yeah I missed out on the Remington M40 special they did years back. Now those rifles are $4000 IF you can find one.
