Can someone please suggest me which one is better Shotgun for 2~3K range and your thoughts on these two.

1- Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus
2- Benelli M2

Thanks

If it matters the Xtreme Plus is a 3.5" gun and the M2 is a 3" gun. I sense you don't care about shooting 3.5" ammo (I didnt) but if you did then that may be a consideration.

Generally everything on the 3.5" gun is bigger (loading port in particular) which I prefer. The main advantage is Canada however is capacity. 3.5" gun can have 7 x 2 3/4" rounds in the magazine and 3" gun will generally have one less.

Don't know about the M2 but the trigger on the A400 with just a cheap & easy spring swap is really good (measures around 2lbs in my A400).

As others have said the A400 gas gun will shoot softer than the M2 inertia gun.

Side note, getting an A400 to run reliably on 2 3/4" can be hit or miss - I had a titanic battle with mine but got the better of it in the end.

Both are good shotguns, as is the Browjing Maxus, and all fit very differently. The A400 has the least drop at comb, and the Maxus the most.
The Browning Maxus is the only gun that has an autoloader feature as standard (which is nice).

My understanding is it works reliably too (which is more than can be said for some aftermarket offerings).
